Ethnic Cleansing of Sanatanis and Their Culture with Christianisation of Meghalaya

Rykk Banerjee LIVE with Madhu Kishwar

A series of developments over the past few weeks have resulted in the exposure of what most of India is barely aware of: the horrific persecution of Hindus in Meghalaya over the past four decades.
For long, the state government dominated by Christian missionaries has been able to put a veil over its xenophobic maltreatment and ethnic cleansing of Hindus and local cultures. “Status of non-Christians in Meghalaya today is similar to that of Kashmiri Pandits in late 1980s”, says Governor Tathagata Roy.
There have been recurring incidents of violence against  non-Christians in Meghalaya, including its capital, Shillong with a view to forcing conversions or pushing non Christians out of the state. In the year 1901, Chrsitians constituted 6.16% of the state’s population. Today, their population is more than to 80% in Meghalaya.
In this episode, Rykk Banerjee and Madhu Kishwar explain the process through which Christians have emerged as such a tyrannical majority while the sons and daughters of the soil are being forced to abandon their millennia old culture and dharmik traditions.

Rykk Banerjee is a B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation from Bengal. His interest in the North East arose from his family connection. His maternal uncle served in BRO. Rykk is currently working at Bosch in the automotive steering department as an engineer.
