For the very first time in the history of the Supreme Court, has it granted protection/relief to the accused against any future proceedings/investigations, if any, which might be carried on by the investigating agencies. Both Nupur Sharma and Zubair get relief from the Supreme Court.

The irony is that, the Supreme Court in the case of Ms Nupur Sharma refused to club all the FIR's, whereas, their lordships have been pleased to club all the different FIR's in Zubair's case.

The reasons for having such different yardsticks is quite evident, however, it seems that our Govt. is in deep slumber.
